The children of the Village Béthanie orphanage

Our story

Giving a childhood back to those who had nothing left.

Approved by the Princely Government of Monaco, CEP Monaco has built and run the Village Béthanie orphanage in Benin since 2014.

01 The beginning

It all began with a journey.

In 2011, Rémy Girardi witnessed the plight of orphaned children in Benin. From that journey came a conviction: to give them back a home. The following year, the NGO "Village Béthanie" was created and the first plot of land bought.

In 2014, the first dormitory was inaugurated. Ten years on, the orphanage has become a true village, ever more self-sufficient thanks to its farm and its land.

An orphanage that became a village.

Goal: 108 children

Let's build the next dormitory together.

Three dormitories still stand between Village Béthanie and its goal. Your donation, whatever its size, lays one of the stones.
